A built-in webcam attached with eye-tracking software allow Toshiba’s latest 3D laptop to create glasses-free 3D on the fly.
Following the anti-glasses backlash from against your will bespectacled 3D TV viewers everywhere, glasses-free TVs are riding the angst and delightful CES 2011 by storm. While most companies at the show use the same parallax barricade technology, which spits out a number of fixed 3D “zones” approximately the TV.
Toshiba had the demonstration set up on a Qosmio notebook, but the creation version due out later this year could be on any Toshiba notebook (a Qosmio, though, is likely, according to our rep).
